The following offices are here to help ensure student success. Please make sure you visit with each office to learn how they can enrich your student experience!
This is the office to contact for your Newly Admitted Student Appointment (NASA). Career and academic advisors work with students to select majors and minors, set up job shadowing opportunities and select classes to help students achieve their career and academic goals.
USFSM partners with local apartment complexes to allow students opportunities to live in the local community where they learn. There are three complexes to choose from and students receive discounts and select fee waivers.
The Campus Bookstore, located a quarter mile from campus, provides books, school supplies and spirit items for the University. Digital books, book rentals and price matching options are available to students.
The Office of Career Services provides programming and individual consultation to help students with choosing a career path and transitioning from school to the work force.
The Cashier’s Office processes payments for deposits, tuition and other university charges.
Campus Computing Help Desk
This office can assist with the setup of wireless devices and personal computers. They are able to help navigate the various university portals such as MyUSF, OASIS, email and virtual apps.
Counseling & Wellness Center
The Counseling & Wellness Center provides health and wellness services that support emotional and physical well-being, and addresses academic concerns.
USFSM encourages and supports students with both temporary and permanent disabilities. This office can develop individualized plans for academic accommodations that will enable students to participate fully in an enriching academic experience.
Financial Aid & Scholarships
This office assists prospective, new and current students in navigating USFSM, the USF System and federal policies to receive financial aid. They also are the primary contact for all University scholarships, with the exception of Admissions Scholarships.
Information Commons & Tutoring
Info Commons helps students in a variety of ways, including library services, tutoring, study spaces and equipment loaning.
This required event helps students better understand USFSM in regard to its policies, resources, student organizations and academic expectations. Parents are also encouraged to attend.
Parking & Transportation
Students parking a car on campus are required to have a USFSM parking sticker. Students may purchase semester or annual passes at the shared Parking and Cashier’s office.
Student Engagement/Campus Recreation
This office provides co-curricular and recreational experiences for students, encouraging relationship building as well as personal and professional growth. Leadership, Multicultural Affairs, Student Organizations, Student Government and more are housed within this department.
University Police Department
The University police department assists students in registering laptops and bikes, escorting students to vehicles, facilitating safety trainings and offering emergency response. Students are also encouraged to join MoBull Messenger to receive emergency updates.
Veterans Success Center
This office provides support to prospective, new and current students and their dependents with utilizing military benefits, such as the GI Bill. They also provide programming and resources for veterans and bring awareness to veteran issues.
