VA Mobile Outreach Clinic to be available at USF Sarasota-Manatee April 14th

The University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee (USFSM) will host the VA Mobile Outreach Clinic on Saturday, April 14th from 2-6 pm, in the USFSM courtyard as part of USF Day at Sarasota-Manatee. This clinic, available to all veterans, provides three private exam rooms and is equipped with a diesel generator, four air conditioners, a bathroom, and two wheelchair lifts for veterans in need of assistance.  In addition to providing health care services and VA benefits enrollment, this Mobile Outreach Clinic also has the capability of assisting the community when disaster strikes.  For Operation Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom veterans, OIF/OEF program staff will be available to answer questions about VA benefits.

USF Day at Sarasota-Manatee is hosted by the Student Government Association (SGA) and is open to area high school and college students, Alumni, and the local community.  The free event will include games, a bounce house, dance heads, balloon art, spray can art, food, campus tours, information about classes and more and will take place rain or shine.

Famed magician Peter Boie is also slated to perform at 5:00 as part of the festival.  Seating for his free show is limited and available on a first come, first served basis.
