031818, 2:34 PM: Campus Police discovered a non-affiliate on the USFSM campus and he was asked to leave. Investigation later revealed that the subject was possibly living on campus for a short period of time. A capias request was sent to the State Attorney’s Office.

030718, 10:49 AM: Campus Police received a report of damage to property at the Campus Bookstore. A fence had been damaged by person(s) unknown. A copy of the report will be sent to USFSM Facilities.

022118, 1:32 PM: Campus Police received a report of a property damage vehicle crash on the USFSM campus from USFSM Security. One subject was cited for No Insurance and Knowingly Driving While Suspended in Manatee County Court. A copy of the report will be sent to USFSM Facilities and Student Services.

092617, 9:12 PM: Campus Police received a report from a USFSM student that her car may have been damaged while parked on campus. A copy of the report will be sent to USFSM Facilities and Student Services. (2017-0970)

090617, 7:19 PM:  Campus Police discovered a non-affiliate on the USFSM Viking campus. The subject had been previously issued No Trespass Orders.  The subject was arrested for Trespass after Warning and taken to the Manatee County Jail.  A copy of the report will be sent to USFSM Facilities.  (2017-0873)

090217, 7:04 PM:  Campus Police observed a non-affiliate on the USFSM campus that had been previously issued a No Trespass Warning.  The subject was issued a Notice to Appear and released.  A copy of the report will be sent to USFSM Facilities. (2017-0857)

083017, 6:47 PM:  Campus Police investigated a theft of a cell phone from an NCF student at the Campus Bookstore.  Investigation revealed the phone was at an off-campus location.  The victim declined prosecution.  A copy of the report will be sent to Student Affairs.  (2017-0844)

051817, 5:12 AM:  Campus Police discovered graffiti to a door in the Viking Complex at USFSM.  A copy of the report will be sent to USFSM Administration.  (2017-0478)

111416, 3:05 AM:  Campus Police discovered a vehicle parked on the west side of the USFSM Viking building registered to a non-affiliate had been burglarized.  Attempts to contact the registered owner were unsuccessful.  The vehicle was towed as a result of it not being able to be secured and to prevent further damage or theft.  A copy of the report will be sent to USFSM Administration.  (2016-1001)

110716, 10:21 AM:  Campus Police received a report from a USFSM student in regards to threats made to her by an acquaintance.  Campus Police escorted the student to the CWC and asked the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office to conduct a welfare check on the acquaintance.  Campus Police was notified that contact was made with the acquaintance and he was arrested on an outstanding warrant.  A copy of the report will be sent to USFSM Administration, Student Services and the CWC.  (2016-0976)

041216, 1:04 PM:  Campus Police responded to a report of damage to an office door at the Viking Complex reported by a USFSM staff member.  A copy of the report will be sent to USFSM Administration.

031116, 7:50 PM: Campus Police responded to USFSM in reference to a fire on the grounds. The fire department responded and extinguished the fire. USFSM Administration and the State Fire Marshall were notified. The case remains under investigation. A copy of the report will be sent to USFSM Administration. (2016-0247).

021016, 8:10 AM: Campus Police received a report from a USFSM staff member working in the Viking Complex who reported her vehicle being entered while she was in her office. Nothing was taken. A copy of the report will be sent to USFSM Administration. (2016-0153)

020816, 6:18 PM: Campus Police received a report from a Staff Member at USFSM regarding a Trespass to her vehicle while parked in the Viking parking lot. The complainant reported that nothing was taken and the matter remains under investigation. A copy of the report will be sent to USFSM Administration. (2016-0146)

012616, 10:00 AM: Campus Police received a report from USFSM Security regarding an incident that had just occurred as he came onto Campus. Campus Police attempted to locate the other vehicle involved with negative results. The complainant does not wish to pursue the matter further and declined to press charges. 082715, 7:57 PM: Campus Police received a report from USFSM Security of a USFSM student who may have damaged a sign on campus. The matter remains under investigation. A copy of the report will be sent to USFSM Administration and Student Services. USFSM decided not to prosecute but handle the matter internally so a referral was completed and a waiver of prosecution obtained. (2015-0759)
