Dr. Lila Rajabion is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Information technology at the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee. She received her Doctoral degree in Management of Information Technology from Lawrence Technological University. Dr. Rajabion also holds MS in Computer Information systems from University of Detroit Mercy. She holds two undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Psychology from University of Windsor, Canada.

Dr. Rajabion has over 15 years of professional experience in various dimensions of Information Technology combined in the academia, and the private sectors. She also has a significant work experience in providing leadership in the areas of systems analysis & design, cyber security, enterprise software application development, and IT project management for local and “global” projects. She has conducted various need-based training programs in industry. She was also a consultant for the US Department of Veterans’ Affair helped develop training program for diversity and inclusion for managers and supervisors. She is also a co-founder of ITC4BIZ and providing IT consulting services to world wide customers.

Prior to joining the faculty at USFSM, she was a faculty chair of Information Sciences and Technology program and a full-time faculty member teaching Information Sciences & Technology (IST) courses at Penn State University (Mont Alto), PA. She has initiated and developed the SAP certificate for the Penn state Mont Alto. She has also initiated the joint program with nursing students and IT students to enhance students’ learning in the real world and provide service to the local community.

She has conducted the project management training for Franklin county leadership programs for many years. She has also taught graduate management and information systems courses in MBA program. She has also taught internationally in Iran and Saudi Arabia and supervised Master student’s dissertation as well as act as an external advisor on various doctoral thesis.

Dr. Rajabion’s research interests are in the areas of information technology in small-medium sized companies, electronic commerce, knowledge management, project management using agile methods and project learning approaches in higher education. She has published her work in peer-reviewed international journals; has a book chapter, several conference/industry presentations, and prepared Grant proposals to NSF and Bill gate Melinda foundation.
