Jamey A. Darnell is currently a Visiting Instructor of Management at the University of South Florida – Sarasota Manatee. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from Pepperdine University and an MBA in International Management from Thunderbird. He recently completed his DBA degree at the Hough Graduate School of Business at the University of Florida with a dissertation on Corporate Social Responsibility as it relates to managerial strategy. Additionally, he completed 27 credit hours in the Ph.D. program in Management at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Mr. Darnell has 15+ years of experience teaching classes in person, online, and in blended formats. He has taught courses including (but not limited to) Strategic Management, International Management, Principles of Management, Entrepreneurship, and Managerial Ethics. He is familiar with a variety of pedagogical techniques and technology tools. His research interests are broadly related to leader/manager decision making in the areas of strategy, international management, and ethics. He has presented and conducted workshops at international conferences including USASBE and AOM.
